PEX sessions: Philanthropy.Insight

This online session is part of a series of events providing information on PEX projects.

COVID-19 is prompting philanthropy – like most other sectors – to rethink its raison d’être and its license to operate. How to navigate in the cum and post-corona world between its capacities and ambitions on the one hand and the uncertainties, risks, and decreasing levels of trust on the other?  Philanthropy.Insight equips philanthropy with a self-assessment framework around five core criteria: commitment, public utility, relevance, performance and accountability. We invite philanthropists and networks to learn about and contribute to this framework in order to strengthen philanthropy’s identity, outcome and perception in the pandemic context of today.

  • Project lead: Maecenata Foundation (Rolf Alter)
  • Project status: advanced
  • Catch-up session: Friday, 18 September / 15:00 – 16:30 (CET)

This project is driven by the PEXcommunity but it is open to wider European civil society representatives. If you are interested in attending this information session, please email joanna.pienkowska@dafne-online.eu
